Using Server 2012 Hyper-V with local storage for VMs?

I have a small network (less than 100 users). I'm looking at buying two (2), 1U servers that have eight (8), 2.5" drive bays and I'm planning on running Hyper-V as the OS. I'm planning on using Hitachi 900GB drives, and this will give me MORE than enough disk space to install Hyper-V and with the remaining space, create a few virtual machines with enough storage as file servers, etc.

I'm using two servers for redundancy of course. I'm purposely not using some form of iSCSI or separate storage only to keep my costs as reasonable as possible and the servers will easily supply my needs. I'll be buying Server 2012 Datacenter Edition, and that will be used as my virtual machine OSes.

is there's anything wrong with using the local storage on the 1U servers to run my VMs on?

Since I have two (2) individual servers that will be hosting Datacenter OS VMs, I can still achieve redundancy, clustering, etc., can't I between all of my VMs, etc., can't I?

Thank you,
Ed
