Hi folks
Just to confirm something I see on my server - I have three Windows Server 2008 guests, one Windows XP SP3 guest, one Windows Server 2003 SP2 guest and one CentOS guest (running trixbox).
When I run Windows Backup (and now Symantec Backup Exec System Restore) I've noticed that all VMs, except the Windows Server 2008 guests would be SAVEd for the VSS snapshot, and resumed immediately after. This generaly takes about ten seconds.
Seeing that I have Integration Services installed on that Windows XP SP3 and Windows Server 2003 SP2 VMs, I was expecting these to continue running.
Am I right assuming that those OS will not support the VSS snapshot and will always be saved at the start of backups?
