Hi,
I've seen the above error with 2008R2 servers and i hoped it would be fixed in Server 2012 but i had it again today on my small test machine.
If i allocate memory to a VM that fits well into the physical RAM of the host i sometimes get the following error:
Cannot start VM cannot allocate sufficient memory or something.
My test machine has 16GB Ram if i create two VMs with each 7GB ram sometimes one won't start with the above error.
If i reboot the host i can start them.
This leads me to believe that the disk RAM caching of Windows is tripping up the memory allocation. Because after a reboot the cache gets cleared and i can start them.
Any idea if i can disable the filecaching? I don't need it on a VM host.
Kind regards,
Kor
