Hello All, I have two Windows 2012 hyper-v nodes, not clustered, set up to replicate a couple of VMs using Hyper-v Replication. There's one vm that has three drives which equate to about 1 terabyte of storage. I have a hyper-v cluster in another facility
that I'd like to move this vm to, but want to test it out first to make sure it works. I originally was going to shut down the vm and do an export to an external hard drive. I assume this will be some serious vm downtime waiting for the Export process to complete.
To avoid downtime, would it be possible to export the vm 'replica' since its already powered down and expect this to import properly on the hyper-v cluster in the other facility? Would this work and if yes, what do i have to take into consideration? Any feedback
appreciated.
