New Domain Controller can resolve internet names but cannot browse/ping

Hello
I just set up a new DC on MS Hyper-V. I am on a home network. The IP is hard coded at 192.168.1.10. There is no gateway and the dns is set to 127.0.0.1. In DNS I have a forwarder set to my linksys router 192.168.1.1.

When trying to ping internet addresses (e.g. google.com) I get "Pinging google.com [173.194.43.34] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.10: Destination host unreachable." So it appears I can resolve the names but that's it. I tried adding another forwarder for comcast's dns 75.75.75.75 and also tried manually adding that in DNS with no luck. Other machines in the domain can access Internet if I put the dns and default gateway as 192.168.1.1.

I am wondering if there is something I have to adjust in the virtual network manager but I feel kind of stuck.

Thanks,
Mike
