Hi,
I have a couple Hyper-V clusters on Server 2008 R2 nodes running on HP BL465c blades. The clusters seem to work fine, for the most part, except when I try to live migrate Server 2003 guests. When I do, the live migration is "successful" and the guest moves to the selected node, but the guest is in a blue screen state. I can't say for sure that this happens every single time a '03 guest live migrates--I have not been able to test on the production systems, but it is very frequent at the least.
I have never had a Server 2008 R2 guest BSOD after migrating, and only once have seen a Server 2008 guest do it.
Some information about my configuration:
- I am using one CSV for all the relevant guests (ie, all guests are co-located on same CSV). The CSV is high-performance fiber-channel running off an HP EVA SAN.
- Each node only has two NICs. The NICs have been teamed for redundancy and all traffic goes over the team.
- Integration services are at the current version on all guests
- Cluster validation passes with warnings
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks
