We have a two node hyper-v cluster windows 2008 R2.
There production virtual machines running on one of the nodes of this cluster.
We are wanting to remove one nodes from this cluster and keep the other node which has production virtual machines running on it.
So one of nodes will still need to run hyper-v with virtual machines. The other node removed from this hyper-v cluster will be cannibalized for other purposes to be determined--Not for hyper-v role.
What are the steps to remove(evict) a node from a two node hyper-v cluster so it can be repurposed. We have a VMM server.
