My Hyper-V subnet is spanned across a 10mb point to point and the gateway is located on the far side. I am backing it up with DPM that has an iSCSI SAN attached for storage but on a local LAN on the near side of the point to point. The traffic
is going back and forth across the WAN and all the backups are failing. Is there anyway to attach a second NIC card to each of the virtual servers so that the traffic can stay local to the DPM? Is this the right approach to solving this?
