If I only have one server virtualizing my DC or even 2 servers virtualizing my dc I am worried about joining my core to the domain. With 1 server it is a no brainer as the server would not be able to authenticate without a DC available. What
are the cons of not joining the Hyper-V core machine to the domain other than the need to setup separate access credentials inside the core Users for management and specific firewall rules. I will be managing these servers remotely. I could join
one and not the other in case of power failure or just not join either if I have 2 physical machines. Best Practice? Thanks!
