Hyper-V 3.0 - Virtual VS Logical CPU Ratio in Windows 2012 Hyper-V

Hi there!

Would you be so kind to help me finding the solution for the following problem:

Hyper-V host (Windows Server 2012 Datacenter Edition) has the CPU with the following configuration:

1 CPU
4 Cores
8 Logical Processors

I need to run 3 VMs on that Hyper-V host. And I have the following questions:

1. Can each VM have 8 virtual processors?
2. Can I use amount in the virtual processor field in order to adjust the relative weight for the desired VM, i.e. HighEndVM will have 8 vCPUs, MidRangeVM will have 4 vCPUs and LowEndVM will have 1 vCPU?
