identical VM hosts

hello everyone 

i have a small project to do 

i need to deploy VM hosts with +100 VM each 

these hosts are identical in hardware and software. 

what i want is to find out 

1. can i automate deployment 

2. can i automate updates "adding/removing VMs" to the hosts

i am planing to have WS 2012 and SCVMM 2012 SP1. is that enough ? do i need anything else because i never did something like this before 

any ideas how to achieve that ?
