Can't create new virtual machine after migration to SSD

I'm running Windows 10. I recently reconfigured my system from a single HD to a SSD/HD configuration.  The new SSD wasn't going to have enough room to hold all my VMs, so I exported them to a second hard drive in order to import them later onto my new D: drive.  I then copied the remaining contents of my C: to the SSD, and then installed the SSD as my new C: drive.

Ever since then I have been having problems with Hyper-V. I can't import the VMs I had previously exported before the switch. I can't even create a new VM, either on the C: or the D: drive.  If I try, it says "Failed to add device 'Virtual Hard Disk'.  The storage where the virtual hard disk is located does not support virtual hard disk sharing.  Cannot get information for attachment 'C:\Virtual Machines\Test2\Virtual Hard Disks\Test2.vhdx'.

Any help would be appreciated.
