Hello,
I checked on the synchronization health today and it was in critical state for replication. It hadn't synced up since the last server reboot. I clicked on synchronize to force it and it did - no problem. I didn't have to go to services and restart any - just clicked on replicate in hyper-v manager. I don't want to have to check on the replication and manually replicate after every reboot. Is there a batch file I can run to force replication like I just did manually?
The error I got after the reboot until I manually forced replication was - Hyper-V failed to enable replication for virtual machine Operation aborted (0x80004004). I didn't need to delete replication or anything to make replication work - I just had to basically resume it. I am not using certificates to replicate so it isn't a bad cert.
